In November '17, I was getting ready with the Metapraxis Ensemble for the very first instalment of #SisyphusDistressing at IKLECTIK, London.

With Damian Posse (photography) on board and in between the regular rehearsals, we had a unique chance to film the four DIY pieces (a series of 4 compositions I composed between 2007-12 that explore my concept of sonic theatre inside concert settings) in their solo format. We ended up with a lot of material that we did not really use for the following 3 years.

The soon expiring 2020 ...brought memories back, so... here we go with the 1st one of these pieces: it was originally titled 'DIY1: the pianist & the lamp' (from 2007). [The remaining 3 pieces will follow in a timely manner].

In this alternative presentation of the piece (renamed 'don't shoot, it's just me'), Neil Georgeson with a unique performance is being transformed alongside a poem by Myrto Loulaki (from 2008) and my videography.
